The impact of Clayton County's high standard and requirement of rigor is apparent in FPHS graduation rate. Coming out of Covid and back into the building after two years of virtual learning, the impact on adolescents was not immediately known. What was experienced was a wide variety of social and interpersonal challenges that threatened the matriculation of our scholars. The graduation rate of 72% is one of the most important statistics for our scholars. It shows that even in challenging times, our professionals will pivot and create ways to make up the education gap for those leaving our hallways to become civic and community leaders.
