History of the Bee
History of the Bee
CCPS held the first Spanish Spelling Bee in the state of Georgia in Fall 2023. The competition is open to any students (heritage or non-heritage) in 4th through 8th grades. In Fall 2024, we launched the first statewide Spanish Spelling Bee. Three winners from the state or Georgia attended the National Spanish Spelling Bee in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two of those students are from CCPS. See the CCPS Info here and the article in EdWeek here.
