On Tuesday, July 29th, we will meet at Emory University's Carlos Museum for our Professional Development at 9:45 AM. There, we will spend the morning touring the museum and engaging in a lesson on object-based pedagogy using an object to discuss culture, geography, communication, and even empathy.
If you want to ride a bus, please meet at Jackson Elementary (7711 Mt. Zion Blvd. Jonesboro) no later than 8:30 AM. If you want to meet us there, please do so by 9:45 AM. See the directions and parking info here. Lunch will be on your own in Emory Village. We will gather in the afternoon for a short introduction to departmental resources and activities for the 2025-2026 school year.
