The newsletter for the 2025-2026 school year is here! Please feel free to read it via this link in .pdf format or via the Flipbook located at this link. A big thank you to our student and adult contributors for this issue, so that we had multiple voices for the many activities that happen in the Department of World Languages.
Welcome to the hub for CCPS World Languages, because with languages, you are home everywhere! In our district, we offer K-12 language study for the more than 48,000 students. Students may take Arabic, Chinese, French, Latin or Spanish at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. We have a variety of student competitions as well from our Trivia Bowl and Spanish Spelling Bee in the Fall to the Competition Showcase in the Spring. Here you will find the information on all those student competitions as well as the curriculum for all K-12 language courses. You can also follow us on social media for updates and celebrations happening in our classrooms across Clayton County. See @ccpsworldlang on Instagram and Facebook.
Anna Cox, a product of CCPS, has taught and worked in the district since 2000. Formerly a Latin teacher at JHS, she has worked in Teaching and Learning & School Improvement since 2019. One of her passions is international travel and ensuring that students have opportunities to see and experience the world. She leads the CCPS Travels program to support students and teachers finding their voice and their path through international travel.
