The STEAM Lab is a place where students can use their imaginations to create innovative and creative solutions to real-world problems. We utilize the Engineering Design Process to develop plans, collaborate with teammates, create prototypes, and test our designs.
With this practice comes the ongoing need for supplies in the STEAM classroom. My goal is to use as many recycled materials as possible in order to minimize waste. If you are able to bring them in, I will collect donations of these household items throughout the year:
Toilet paper rolls (empty)
Paper towel rolls (empty)
Tissue Boxes (empty)
Cardboard boxes
Popsicle Sticks
Clothespins
Paper Towels
Sponges
Printer Paper
Ziplock Bags (all sizes)
Staples
Cotton Balls
Duct Tape
Masking Tape
Clear (Scotch) Tape
Dry Erase Markers
Elmer's Glue
Glue Sticks
Donors Choose is an AMAZING resource where teachers can ask for donations for specific projects that they need assistance with in the classroom.
I have already gotten my first project funded!! Our new MakerSpace materials are here and ready to be used during Spirit Week!
Please click the picture to be directed to my Donors Choose page to see the projects that I am currently working on.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
