Currently schools such as Arts Ed, Central School of Speech and Drama, Guildford School of Acting (GSA), Mountview, RADA and the Royal Academy of Music (RAM), to name but a few, provide amazing courses for both Acting and Musical Theatre. Some schools also provide the opportunity for courses tailored more to those who work backstage.

Many universities will also provide theatre societies within which you can get involved and that you don't have to study drama in order to take part and enjoy it!
