In Year 9 you will:
Receive dedicated Careers & Finance lessons looking at vital skills such as building your CV, applying for jobs, how to handle interviews, decoding payslips, handling a budget and avoiding debt.
Prepare for your options choices by exploring how to use all the information available to you to make the best choice of subjects to continue to GCSE.
You will be invited to attend a Careers event hosted by Claverham where you can meet with local business people and professionals and ask them about their work and the career paths they have taken. Local colleges and 6th forms are also invited to provide information about their courses and qualifications options.
You will be invited to sign up to visit local employers in various sectors as part of the Open Doors programme.
