Future 7th & 8th Graders — This Is Your Chance to Lead!
Do you want to make a real difference on campus?
Do you have ideas, school spirit, and a desire to lead by example?
Then ASB might be the perfect fit for you!
ASB is a dynamic team of 35 student leaders who help shape the energy and culture of our school. From running exciting assemblies and planning unforgettable events to designing posters, leading fundraisers, and building school spirit — ASB students are at the heart of Coastal Academy.
If you’re ready to step up, share your voice, and be part of something bigger, we’d love to see you apply!
Applications will be available beginning March 23rd for all incoming 7th and 8th graders from M Track, C Track, and SORA.
Important ASB Information & Expectations
ASB meetings are held every Thursday from 2:45–3:45 PM.
This opportunity is only open to incoming 7th and 8th grade students from all programs, including M Track, C Track, and SORA.
ASB members are expected to actively participate and serve our school community. Students are asked to volunteer at a minimum of four events throughout the school year. In addition, ASB parents/guardians are also asked to support our program by volunteering at a minimum of two events during the year. These volunteer hours will count toward each family’s annual volunteer commitment.
Because attendance, teamwork, and participation are essential to the success of ASB, we encourage families to carefully consider these commitments before applying.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our ASB leaders:

Volunteer for the Go for the Gold Store!
We need your help to make the C-Track Go for the Gold Store a success! Students in grades 3–8 in the C-Track program will be redeeming tickets they’ve earned by completing the Task Sheet, attending Study Halls, and finishing CAASPP tests.
We’ve created an Amazon Wish List with items we’re hoping to add to the store, along with a few decorations to help make the event extra fun and motivating.
We have also set up a SignUpGenius for parents who would like to volunteer to help run the store table during testing-day breaks and after testing hours.
The store will run similarly to the ASB Snack Shack, and parents from all tracks are welcome to volunteer:
Volunteer Tasks:
Help manage prize tables
Assist students as they shop
Ensure everything runs smoothly during store hours
Volunteer Shifts Needed:
Tuesday, 4/28 – Patio
9:00 – 10:30 AM (4 volunteers needed)
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (2 volunteers needed)
Wednesday, 4/29 – Patio
9:00 – 11:30 AM (2 volunteers needed)
Thursday, 4/30 – C Track Room

Friday, 5/1 – C Track Room
