Dear Forensics Coach,
We are thrilled to invite you to the Gloria Richardson Async, which will take place from Monday, February 24th, 2025, to Sunday, March 2nd, 2025. This tournament is named in honor of Gloria Richardson, a trailblazer in the civil rights movement, whose legacy of courage and advocacy continues to inspire us all. Click HERE to view our website for more information.
Gloria Richardson was a pioneering civil rights activist best known for her leadership in the Cambridge movement in Maryland during the 1960s. She fought tirelessly for economic and social justice, advocating for desegregation, better housing, and fair employment opportunities. Her bold actions, including negotiating the Treaty of Cambridge with Robert F. Kennedy, left an indelible mark on the fight for equality and continues to inspire generations of activists.
We encourage all teams to register by Thursday, February 20th, 2025, to ensure a smooth and organized tournament experience. Our team is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every participant can shine. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of judging and feedback, ensuring that each competitor receives valuable insights to help them grow and excel in their craft.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the art of speech and debate. We are excited to see you all virtually and to celebrate the incredible talent within our community.
