Irving will begin offering a place to complete homework on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays before and after school.
The only assignments that may land you in homework hub from orchestra are your once a semester playing check. Read more about them in the "Grades" tabs. If you miss the due date, expect to call home, set a time to stay and homework hub, and do it then.
For your lessons, you will miss either 1st or 5th period once per week. It is your responsibility to work with your teacher to make up any work you missed. Teachers will let Mr. Hegert know if you are all falling behind. Ultimately, you have to do this if you would like to continue playing your instrument. Thank you for prioritizing this!
1st period lessons: Leave directly from advisory to come to orchestra. You will return to class by 9:05. We will fill out our practice card at 8:57 each week, giving you 7 minutes to write this down, pack up, and return to your class. The hallways will be empty so this is plenty of time.
5th period lessons: Leave your class at 12:28. You are expected in the orchestra room by 12:33. The hallways will be empty, so this is plenty of time. We will fill out our practice cards at 1:10, giving us enough time to write our assignments and pack up by the bell at 1:14.
