Revise a model to describe how matter cycles through a system of humans, animals, plants, and decomposers as they use food for energy.
Construct an explanation to describe the cycling of atoms (matter) into and out of organisms, then respectfully provide and receive feedback on respective explanations with a partner.

Matter Cycling Activity - Take 2

The outputs of living things become the inputs of other living things and part of the nonliving components of the system.
Systems consist of living (producers, consumers, and decomposers) and non-living (air and water) components where atoms are continuously recycled between these components.
