On December 6, 2021, in the early dawning hours, Mrs. Ivenia Wiley, the widow of Deacon Moses Wiley, succumbed from the walk of time at her residence. Blessed with longevity, Mrs. Wiley, 93, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lizzie Green, was a resident of the Roadside community of Yemassee. She along with her late husband lived for many years in New York.

Mrs. Wiley returned to her native home decades ago and worked in the profession of cosmetology. She owned and operated her very own Beauty Salon. Here she shared her sense of style and distinction. Mrs. Wiley reunited with the church of her youth, Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Yemassee, SC. For many years, she served as a dedicated choir member and deaconess.

Fond memories shall be held forever by her family, community and friends of her love and the beauty of her essence.
