Welcome to the Wildcat Library! We are so excited to have you here and can't wait to help you discover all the wonderful resources and opportunities that our library has to offer.

Our library is more than just a place to check out books - it's a welcoming and inclusive space where students can explore their interests, expand their knowledge, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Our mission is to empower students with the tools they need to become independent learners and critical thinkers, and we do this by offering a diverse collection of high-quality resources, promoting literacy and digital citizenship, collaborating with teachers to support academic success, sponsoring an afterschool Chess Club with the leaders from Chess and Community, and hosting events, speakers, and monthly reading challenges. There is always something happening in the Oglethorpe Library!

We believe that reading and inquiry are the keys to unlocking a world of curiosity, creativity, and growth, and we are committed to creating a culture that inspires these values in all learners. Whether you're looking for a great book to read, doing research for a project, or just want to spend some time exploring, our library is the perfect place to be.
