Pieces of the PIE
Through careful consideration of a students' support system, attendance, their school's Family Resource/Youth Services Coordinator, and their teachers, students are selected to benefit from being mentored by a PIE Volunteer.
We seek out businesses in our community who see the need for a strong foundation of education and community involvement for our future citizens. They are eager to uplift and support students in the community through sponsorship, partnership, donation, and collaboration.
Our volunteers are the hands-on piece of PIE. There are multiple ways to be a PIE Volunteer - a weekly mentor to a student or small group of students, judging an academic fair, speaking to a group of young learners, being an authentic listener during student presentations, and more!
