Please note: the Stevens-Crawford Heritage House is not ADA accessible. The first floor has a short flight of stairs to reach the front door, and the second floor has two flights of stairs, one with a railing. There is a bathroom available on the first floor. Please contact us with any accessibility needs of your class.
Located in the heart of the McLoughlin District, students will explore the first and second floors of this four-story, foursquare historic home.
The Francis Ermatinger House, owned and operated by the city of Oregon City, is the third oldest home in Oregon! Students will be able to experience a tour of the home, see the room where Portland's famous "coin flip" likely took place, pet a beaver's pelt, and trade goods in a miniature Hudson's Bay trading store.
Touring the Francis Ermatinger House includes a $5/student fee (adults are free!), as well as free access to the Pioneer Center (just across the street) for lunch.
