"Learn, Grow, Succeed"
Our vision at Fishcross Primary School is to empower every learner to be a confident, valued, and successful individual, fostering a nurturing and inspiring environment where unique talents flourish. Our school values are Respect, Included and Kindness.
Fishcross Primary is under a shared headship model with Craigbank Primary. This allows for cross establishment working where expertise is shared and promoted.
At Fishcross Primary we work hard as a team to create a secure and positive learning environment where each pupil feels valued and is encouraged to learn. We promote a sense of community and recognise the importance of each individual pupil in our school.
We strive to provide a safe, healthy, happy, caring and stimulating environment that places the child at the centre. We will provide a curriculum that is accessible to all children, one that develops knowledge, skills and attributes that will help children to contribute to life, learning and work.
Please note that this website is under development and new information will be added going forward.
Fishcross Primary School is a school within the small community of Fishcross village. The school celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2025 as it was officially opened on 6 September 1875. The school underwent a major extension and modernisation in 1991. The school is situated between the town of Alloa sitting on the River Forth and the Ochil Hills.
The school building has four classrooms, a gym hall and a dining room with servery. It has pleasant surroundings and a raised garden area designed and sponsored by Scottish Power. This provides excellent opportunities for environmental education and outdoor learning.
