Alloa EASN
Extended Additional Support Needs Provision for secondary pupils is based withing Alloa Academy. Pupils here usually transition from Lochies school.
EASN is located in Alloa Academy. It is Clackmannanshire Education Service’s secondary provision for young people with profound, multiple, severe and complex additional support needs who require significant support to access the curriculum.
The young people attending EASN take part in an enhanced transition from Lochies School. The staff in EASN work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including Allied Heath professionals to provide coordinated support for the young people.
Individualised planning for learners is detailed within the Child’s Plan, which is developed with the young person, their family and professionals involved. For some learners there may also be additional planning documents such as a Co-ordinated Support Plan (CSP).
When appropriate young people may access the mainstream school for aspects of their curriculum.
