Principal Certification Program
with Campbellsville University
Campbellsville University and the Central Kentucky Education Cooperative are working together to provide a (mostly) virtual Educational Administration (Principal P-12) program to teachers in CKEC school districts. This 30-credit hours program is $319 per credit hour with a $75 technology fee for each graduate term. After completing the program and passing the required Praxis exam, you will be recommended for Kentucky Principal Level II certification.
This program also has the opportunity for you to complete the program through the Option 6 alternative certification route. Upon acceptance into the program, you will hold eligibility to be employed as a Principal of record with a provisional certificate. You may be hired at any point in the program after you start coursework. Additional details about this option may be provided to you at any time. Please note that your Option 6 eligibility resides only in the state of Kentucky.

After selecting your academic level, applicant type, etc, on the campus location select “Campbellsville Campus.”
All official college transcripts from each college or university previously attended and currently attended
3.0 overall GPA from their last completed degree
Copy of valid teaching certificate
7 Page Leadership Essay – Instructions and rubric are linked on the left
Submit the name and email of your Superintendent for School of Education requirements
Please note that after you have been admitted into the program, there will be additional documents that need to be completed that will be requested from the School of Education.
