Guidance for Completing School Library Evaluation - Complete by August 28, 2026
The LCAP budget provides district-wide support for libraries including developing collections of both print and digital literacy and information resources that meet the needs of diverse learners, support the curriculum, and support district goals and initiatives.
The goal of this support is to increase access to resources and programs and to improve the functionality of libraries by providing support for resources and the professional learning necessary to meet California Department of Education Model School Library Standards and Future Ready Schools Library Frameworks.

District ebook and audiobook collections are shared collections that all students and staff can access. District-wide collections are developed, cataloged, and managed by ESD using Collection Development Best Practices.
