Episode 1. Introduction to the Framework for Civic Engagement
This video is the first episode in an ongoing series developed by TYTHEdesign to support DYCD-funded after school program directors, education specialists, and other CBO leaders to train their staff and implementation teams in bringing civic engagement practices into their programming. Episode One will cover an introduction to DYCD’s Framework for Civic Engagement and define what civic engagement looks like in an after school context. We will also present a case study of a DYCD-funded CBOs applying this work to its after school arts program, share additional resources, and provide you with a tool to help plan for civic engagement in your organization.
