The Political Parties School for Civic Education in Jordan is a pilot project dedicated to educating the public about political parties and their mechanisms within the framework of the country's political life. The school directly aims to promote political awareness and enhance party-related knowledge among young people through a variety of educational and engaging programs.
The Parties School is responsible for managing the educational process for new young members of political parties, as well as for those not yet affiliated with any party. The levels of education are divided in a way that ensures the efficient and transparent development of their party-related paths. The "National Party School for Civic Education" holds educational workshops about political parties, their mechanisms, purposes, and conducts training sessions that allow participants to deeply understand the core concepts of political parties.
Additionally, the National Party School for Civic Education produces training curricula and educational materials for all those enrolled in the project. The school also undertakes networking with specialized partners in political or party-related capacity building to conduct educational sessions and workshops with the project's participants.
The idea for the National Party School project emerged in line with the directives of His Majesty the King for political reform, and it aligns with the outcomes of the Royal Committee for Modernizing the Political System and the emergence of political parties. It was noted that there is a general lack of awareness, particularly among young people, about political parties, their mechanisms, and their goals. The project seeks to address this issue by highlighting the general concept of parties, how they operate, their impact, and how programs are shaped based on individual needs and then molded into a general national framework, rather than a party-specific one.
