2. Nurseries of Azraq Alive
Description and Activities:
Nurseries Azraq Alive was initiated in 2019 to address community needs in Al-Azraq City. Two strategically chosen locations, one in North Al-Azraq and the other in South Al-Azraq, were established to cater to the population density. The project involved the transformation of caravans into fully equipped and furnished nurseries in collaboration with local associations. Specialized early childhood programs were implemented for both parents and children, promoting holistic development.
After the setup, the management of the nurseries was transferred to the local associations. These organizations have been successfully operating the nurseries, ensuring the sustained delivery of quality early childhood education and care.
The project has witnessed successful outcomes since its inception. The nurseries, operating in North and South Al-Azraq, have played a vital role in meeting societal needs. Through specialized programs, parents and children have benefited from enhanced early childhood development opportunities. The collaboration with local associations has contributed to the sustainability and continued success of the nurseries.
