Happy Harvest, City Winery!

We're approaching one of the most exciting times of the year for our company—Harvest Season! This is a time to immerse yourself in the sights, smells, and vibrant energy of our wineries as we welcome this year's harvest to our properties. Harvest Season marks the transition between seasons, bringing new beginnings and a fresh burst of energy to our locations. We're thrilled to share this excitement with you through the launch of our official 2025 Harvest landing page.

This page, which will be updated regularly throughout the Harvest, will feature photos, interviews, educational content, opportunities to meet our teams, and insights into what's happening at our wineries during Harvest 2025. We encourage you to stay curious and connect with your local team for a firsthand experience!

For those who are new to City Winery or the winemaking process, Harvest Season takes place from September to early November. During this time, vineyards harvest their grapes, which are then transformed into wine. We work closely with our partner vineyard to determine the optimal time to harvest when the grapes reach the perfect level of brix (a measure of sugar). The harvested grapes are then prepared for delivery to our City Winery locations.

We have exclusive partnerships with vineyards in California and the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. In just a few days, these grapes will arrive at our wineries, ready for our teams to begin their work. We receive white varietals as grape juice, which is fermented on-site, while red varietals arrive in full clusters to be processed and inoculated.
