Greetings!
Harvest season is well underway, and our winemaking teams are hard at work! Check out some amazing footage from our Vineyard Liaison, Aurelien Gousse, which tells the story of how our grapes journey from vineyard to our locations!
We also celebrated a historic milestone at City Winery Hudson Valley! For the first time ever, we harvested our on site Estate Grapes from the HV Vineyard! It was a fun filled day for the team - check out the video below!
Our grapes are hand harvested at the perfect time under the supervision of Aurelien Gousse! They are carefully packed into refrigerated trucks and begin their journey to City Winery. The trucks make their first stop at City Winery Chicago and then head to our other locations!

Hand Harvesting - Cabernet Sauvignon
Elis Ridge Vineyard, California
Our teams in Chicago and Hudson Valley received the grapes from California a few short days after they were packed into the trucks! These teams set up their crush lines and processed all the crop, beginning the fermentation process! We had some team members from Chicago, HV, and HQ join in on the fun. Thank you Travis, Caroline, and the winemaking teams for the hard work!

Hudson Valley Crush Day
For the first time everin 2024, we harvested our own City Winery grown grapes! These have been a work in progress over the last four years and the team at Hudson Valley celebrated the dedication to that hard work with a fun filled day of harvest! We harvested over 50 gallons of Vidal Blac! Congrats to the entire Hudson Valley team.
