September 1 - Day 1: 10:00 a.m. to Noon
PreK students whose last names begin with 'A' through 'R' and Kindergarten students whose last names begin with 'A' through 'N' should report to campus with at least one parent.
September 2 - Day 2: 10:00 a.m. to Noon
PreK students whose last names begin with 'S' through 'Z' and Kindergarten students whose last names begin with 'O' through 'Z' should report to campus with at least one parent.
September 3 - Day 3: 10:00 a.m. to Noon
ALL PreK and ALL Kindergarten students should report to campus. Parents do not need to stay on day 3.
Classes begin for all students on Tuesday, September 7 @ 8:00 a.m.
For the first day of school, we intend to celebrate our full return to the building. If you desire to take first day of school pictures near the building, we encourage you to come beginning at 7:40 a.m. Our playground will be open so that each family can have ample space. If you intend to post your pictures to social media, please be sure to take pictures of your student(s) only unless you have the permission of the other parent(s).
Classes dismiss for all students on Tuesday, September 7 @ 12:15 p.m.
Typical Arrival:
Morning Care begins at 7:30 a.m. If you need to use the service, students can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m.; students must be signed in by a parent and temperatures will be checked.
If you do not need the morning care service, students can begin arriving at 7:55 a.m. Students will be counted as late if they arrive after 8:15 a.m.
Buses should arrive by 8:30 a.m. Students who ride the bus will NOT be counted as late.
Classes begin between 8:15 and 8:30 am. If you are stuck behind a traffic accident, please DON'T RUSH or worry. The safety of students and parents is our primary concern. Grace will be extended to all those in need.
Students will be scanned for temperature upon arrival and should be wearing a mask that fits their face securely BEFORE they enter the building.
Typical Dismissal:
Dismissal begins at 3:15 p.m. Students will remain in their classrooms. Staff will be positioned at the 24th Street door to call classrooms for students whose parents/guardians that walk up to the 24th Street door. Additional staff will be positioned at the Ringgold Street door to call classrooms for students whose parents/guardians drive up in the car line. We will continue with this procedure until 3:30 p.m.
All students who remain at school at the conclusion of dismissal will automatically attend After Care. If you or a designated adult arrive after 3:30 p.m., you must go to the Ringgold Street door to pick up students from After Care.
LUNCH: Please send a healthy lunch and snack each day this week. Our water fountains are operational. for the refilling of reusable water bottles only. Please be sure your student has a water bottle filled with water that can also be refilled as needed.
My Hot Lunch is scheduled to be start the week of September 13, 2021. If you have not already done so, please set up your account at myhotlunchbox.com. If you already have account established, please be sure you make adjustments to your students grade level.
MASKS: Masks will be required all day.
