Steps to get connected to Zoom.
Make sure you have active internet connectivity. (Please note that the most stable solution will be a wired connection, but it is not necessary to be hard wired.)
Click the zoom link provided by your teacher to enter the classroom/course. (Zoom links for classrooms are provided by teachers in your student portal and are also available on this site, on your campus page.)
Once the meeting page loads, if you have not done so, please click "download & run Zoom". Save the file on your computer and follow the set-up instructions on the screen. When logging into Zoom, students must login using their City School email address. Students logged in under other accounts will have trouble gaining access to classes. Logging in using their City School student email address will connect them to the school's account and allow them into their classrooms/courses.

I received an age limit notice when I tried to create my Zoom account
Students under the age of 18 should not go to www.zoom.us to create an account because (i) they should only be joining Zoom meeting sessions as participants (not separate account holders) through the School Subscriber's account and (ii) minors are not permitted to create an account per Zoom's Terms of Service. Students must join as a participant by clicking the teacher's link and using their City School Email address in order to access Zoom classrooms/courses.
I am logged in with my City School student email address, but I still can't get into my class.
If you cannot get into your class please try the following:
If able, send an email to your teacher and let them know that you are having technical difficulty getting into the class. Do this first so that your teacher is aware of the issue.
Try again. With so many online during these times, connection issues can occasionally occur. Some students have been successful getting into class after the 3rd time of reloading.
If you still cannot get in, restart your computer, make sure you are connected to the internet, login with your City School email address, and try again.
If you continue to have trouble, please complete this form and someone from the office will be in contact with you.
