Hello, I'm Mr Melson!
I love to see students progress both academically and non-academically as rounded people and future citizens. When not in school, I can be found climbing, at the gym, wearing velvet jackets, or spending time with my wife and 2 teenage children.
Hi, I'm Ms Kroeller!
I have worked at Outwood Academy City for fabulous 11 years. I love developing teaching and learning, listening to students about how we can continue to develop their learning experiences. I love reading and poodles!
Hello, I'm Ms Hawkins!
I have been working at City for two years and absolutely love the fact we are a family. My favourite thing is helping students, even the most reluctant readers, find books that they love!
Hi! I'm Mr Mallory!
I have been at City for just over a year. I love to see students unlock and demonstrate their potential in our Academy and look forward to help support our new students to do this. In my spare time I love visiting theme parks and riding rollercoasters. I am a massive sports fan and love Formula 1, Cricket, Darts and Football.
Hi, I'm Ms Simpson!
I've been working at Outwood 8 years this year! I love football and support Sheffield United. I enjoy doing trips with the year groups and getting to know the students that I work with.
Hi I'm Miss Meakes, I work at Outwood City as the SEND Officer. This means that I support students to overcome barriers in school and reach their full potential. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, reading and walking. I am also a Brownie Leader for Girlguiding UK. Please feel free to pop into the Inclusion Office in September if you need any help
Hello, I am Ms Carnall!
I have been working at Outwood for a year and a half now and I love seeing students becoming more confident in themselves and grow as individuals. I love to talk and chat about basically anything! This also helps me get to know the students I work with better. In my spare time I like to spend time with my dogs or out walking.
Hello, I am Mr Trueman!
"I have been working at Outwood city for 5 years and have been the regional lead science technician for the past 2 years. I absolutely love science, in particular whizzes and bangs, and I love how science allows us to work out how the world around us is working. I really look forward to working with our transition and Key Stage 3 students to nurture their inquisitiveness and problem solving skills, and help along with all my colleagues here at city nurture the next generation of Outwood scientists."
LEAD LEARNING MANAGER
Mr Colliver
Hello I am Mr Colliver!
I have worked at Outwood Academy City for nearly 20 years in a number of different roles. I am passionate about seeing students develop socially, my role as Lead Learning manager is to support all students academically and behaviourally. I work closely with the inclusion coordinator, attendance and the Leadership team to improve student behaviour, attendance and outcomes. Day to day, I work tirelessly to help students be the best they can be. I am a massive advocate of trips, events and international tours which I’m often involved in organising providing opportunities for students and their families. No doubt I will have worked with a close family member over the years maybe your parents?! I love watching Sheffield United and a few years ago I tried to kick the football around myself also!
