CIT was awarded $10,000 in funds from Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation on Thursday, 10/3. Bill DesRosiers, External Affairs Coordinator and George Stark, Director of External Affairs met with me and Mr. Kahler to explain their corporation’s commitment to Career and Technical Education and provided various other scholarship, duel enrollment and grant opportunities that will be available in the near future. Joe Emrick was schedule to be present for the presentation of the $10,000 check but he was running late from a previous commitment and could not be here. We provided these special guests with a tour of our facilities and they were extremely impressed with the programs that are currently offered and the overall cleanliness and condition of the building.

* Propane and Drainage Repairs have began and expect to be complete in the next 2 weeks.

* A kickoff meeting is being held on 10/16/19 for the front bus loop steps with a start date of 10/21. The project is expected to take approximately 3 weeks.

* Working on in-house projects such as concrete counter tops for main office and oil containment structure.

Masonry and Carpentry students are working together to build a containment for oil drums to be relocated out of the wash bay and into a safe zone. This is being built along the transportation building.
