On Saturday May 4th, students from the CIT Cosmetology Program went to Pen Argyl High School to provide hairstyle services to students attending the Prom. Students had to sign up for this free $5.00 (low cost) service being offered and styling took place right in the High School Library.

It was a pleasure to be able to provide this service for such a special event. We look forward to the opportunity to participate in this again next year and possibly expanding to other districts.

This week, Senior students in the Cosmetology Program had an opportunity to visit various different salons in the area. Each salon offered different types of opportunities and working environments. The students also got to visit a local beauty supply store that is only accessible to licensed professionals in our industry.
