Before you begin you MUST KNOW:

• Your OWN email address

• Social Security Number

• Address

  • If you live at two different homes, please put the address of the parent that claims the student for their taxes.

Step 1: Students complete the online registration. Registration links below.

• If the student has taken a CCC course in the past, they already have a username and password. Write DOWN this username and password! You will use the same registration process for next semester!

Step 2: Students will receive an email within 24 hours on how to access Blackboard credentials.

• Students can access blackboard anytime until the course starts to make sure they can log in.

Web Portal Instructions for Online Registration:

• Go to: https://www.cayuga-cc.edu/name of school (after edu/ type in the name of your district)

• Create a username and password - Please give this to your facilitator - you will use it next semester!

• Fill out the basic information and click the orange NEXT icon.

• You are registering as a student. Click on the orange NEXT icon.

• Address: Complete the address portion and click the orange FINISH icon.

• Finish and it will say Welcome Student! - Click on the blue let’s get started

• Step 1: Middle Name, Birthday, Contact Phone, Student Social, Gender - Click on BLUE Save and Continue

• Step 2 - verify your primary address and how long have you resided at this address?

  • If you live at two different homes, please put the address of the parent that claims you for their taxes.

• Step 3 - Parent/Guardian - mailing address, email address and phone number

• Step 4: Primary language, Foreign Exchange Student and Citizenship

• Step 5: Ethnicity Questions

• Step 6: How long have you lived at your address, county and NYS?

• Step 7: Address Validation Checking - Save and Continue

• Account Setup Complete! - Select My Courses

• Step 1: Add the course

• Step 2. Review Selected Course

• Step 3: Verify your Personal Information

• Step 4: Disability Accommodations - Click YES if you would like information about disability services (accommodations) for my online Cayuga course. THIS is ONLY for ONLINE COURSES and for students that receive accommodations in school.

• Save Registration - You have not SUBMITTED YET! - Please continue to next page

• Click on the Green Submit Registration Icon

• Review information and click the BLUE SUBMIT REGISTRATION FORM to officially register

• Continue to Next Steps - Application for Certificate of Residence

  • Download affidavit/application - Print/Sign and give to the facilitator.

  • OR for remote learners at home - save this form on your device.

• Don’t Forget - Click on - “This step is completed” - after you print/save your application for the Certificate of Residence.

• You will receive an email from Cayuga on how to access your blackboard credentials!
