Dear delegates,

Welcome to WALMUN II!

My name is Shree Anandheri Kandadai and I am a Junior at Walnut Hills High School. This is my third year of Model UN and my first year as a club leader of the Walnut Hills High School Model UN Club. It is my honor to serve as your Secretary General. Our staff has worked for the past ten months to bring this to life. From the Iranian hostage crisis committee, taking us back to 1979, where Iranian students stormed the US embassy, to the Day Zero committee, looking into the present and future to combat global destruction, our conference hopes to find a place for everyone. We pride ourselves in creating a safe space for political discussion, social debate, and more. If at any time, you do not feel as if we are living up to our commitment, please reach out to your advisor(s), a member of our staff, one of our advisors, or another adult that you feel safe with.

To that end, I would like to thank our amazing advisors, Ms. Greulich and Mr. Cabral. They have been great outlets for our club, inspiring greatness, motivating us to be our best selves, and keeping everything on track. We could not have asked for a better team!

Thank you to everyone signing up to attend our conference, we appreciate your faith in us and we hope to reward you with copious debate and maybe even an award! Thank you all, have a great day, and see you December 5th!

Sincerely,

Shree Anandheri Kandadai

WALMUN 2026 Secretary General
