About me
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at UAM-I through the SECIHTI program Estancias Posdoctorales por México under supervision of Yuriko Pitones. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at CCM through the SECIHTI Project CF-2023-G-33 under supervision of Daniel Duarte. In december 2024 I obtained my Ph.D. at CIMAT under direction of Luis Núñez-Betancourt. In 2020 I completed my Masters degree at UANL under direction of Lilia Alanís-López and Luis Núñez-Betancourt.
In my free time I enjoy dancing, playing board games, gardening, and working out.
Research interests
My area of research is focused in commutative algebra, in particular I am interested in combinatorial commutative algebra, binomial edge ideals, F-singularities, symbolic powers and Groebner deformations. I am also interested in computational aspects of commutative algebra, and in the connections between commutative algebra and other areas of mathematics such as graph theory, topology, probability, and coding theory.
