Hi everyone! I am a postdoctoral fellow in Veritas lab currently working on evaluating educational technologies in Mexican schools. I am a Phd in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and have a strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, community-based research; social-emotional learning; and analyzing educational data. After my PhD I started working for Boston Public Schools as their External Research Manager partnering with multiple researchers in the area to ensure quality evidence is implemented into policy.
Most of the work I have conducted in the past incorporates both qualitative and quantitative analysis under a mixed-methods framework. I also have experience working with quasi experimental methodologies exploring the limitations and opportunities of large educational datasets.
I am dedicated to conducting applied research that can be seamlessly incorporated into social systems and broader policies.
