25 - 29 November 2024
The official opening began with a warm welcome, including a mini concert by students from Mehmetçik Anadolu Lisesi. After an introductory school tour and ice-breaker activities, participants dove into the first Eco-Friendly Fashion Workshop.
Participants started the day by sharing presentations about their home cities and schools, emphasizing local environmental challenges.
The participants will gain a broader perspective on global sustainability efforts, particularly how Çorum integrates ecopractices into its daily life. They will acquire hands-on experience, network with like-minded individuals, and return with a wealth of knowledge to implement in their local communities.
Participants are not merely observing; they're thrust into the heart of actionable change.Beginning with insights from Çorum's mayor, they're introduced to the gravity of global sustainability challenges and the localized strategies Çorum employs to address them.
Participants learn to transform waste into value, be it through upcycled fashion or crafting. This skill set is invaluable, offering participants not just a lesson but a lifelong craft that can be transferred to their communities, influencing local economies and crafting traditions
