Distance Learning Questionnaire
Please take some time to complete the questionnaire below regarding Distance Learning in our district.
Material/Computer Returns-ALL GRADES
All students: Chesnut, Cambridge, Independent Studies, and CDS
If you have books and/or MacBooks to turn in, you may do so on JUNE 2nd from 9-10 am at CHESNUT HS in Huron and on JUNE 2nd 10:30-11:30 am at Cambridge HS in Coalinga. If you are a senior, you are required to turn in MacBook by this date. Not turning in a MacBook will result in fines and jeaopardize or delay diploma pick up and MacBook will be locked.
Those who may keep their MacBook over the summer:
If you are not a senior and will be returning next school year
If you are a fifth year senior for next year AND have signed a contract
REMEMBER: you will have access to your Cyberhigh courses over the summer, please continue to work on your credits over this break.

Class of 2020 Graduate Information
This has been a difficult year to get through, but we are here. We miss all of you and we wish we didn't have to finish your senior year this way. However, we are at the end of our journey together. Some of you are still working hard at completing your credits, please remember your deadline is June 1, 2020. If you have not completed your credits, please do so by that date.
We have purchased individualized signs for those students who will have earned their HS Diploma by the end of school year and they are now in. Distribution will take place in front of Chesnut for Huron students on May 27th 9-10 am AND the WELCOME CENTER for Coalinga students (in front of Cambridge through Baker St.) on May 28, 2020 from 9-10 am. This is not a graduation ceremony, but you may bring some family with you to collect your banner, take pictures, and pick up some goodies. This DOES NOT take place of your ceremony, a future date will be provided at a different time.
Please bring your masks and we will be practicing physical distancing during this time. Thank you for your understanding.
You will also need to bring your MacBooks and any textbooks and remember to leave contact information (personal email and phone number) so we can provide information about picking up your diploma and your graduation ceremony at a later date.
Congratulations Class of 2020! We are so very proud of you and can't wait to hear about the great things you will set out to do!

All Seniors/Fifth Year Students (2020-2021)
Seniors that have not completed their credits by the June 1st deadline may be considered for a fifth year program. You will need to contact the counselor and the principal to be considered. You will also need to sign a contract or return your MacBook on our COLLECTION DATE.
COLLECTION DATE FOR ALL MACBOOKS - Macbooks will be locked after this date if you have not made prior arrangements.

Welcome to the Alternative Education Distance Learning Website. We encourage you to navigate and cruise through the various resources available for Alt Ed students. Students are encouraged to continue earning credit recovery credits through Cyberhigh. All students also have access to Distance Learning Assignments linked through the different teachers' in our website, under "For Students." Please feel free to reach out to administration and staff if we can be of any assistance.
