Greetings Roxboro Middle School Families,
I hope that this message finds you and your family healthy and strong. In accordance with the Tier 3 academic plan our school is now providing weekly At Home Weekly Learning Plans per grade level per teacher/subject that provide an At-A-Glance look at the upcoming week summarizing the assignments and assessments, including the due dates. It is our hope that that tool will make it easier for you and your student(s) to keep track of upcoming assignments.
In addition to the weekly instructional plans, each staff member has scheduled a daily student support lab per week for students to receive immediate assistance and support. We have tried to ensure that the labs occur at various times throughout the week to support families who have multiple students at home and limited devices.
Teachers are also documenting attendance/participation in their virtual learning environments. It is important that your student log into his/her Google Classrooms and participate in the educational experiences provided. If your child needs assistance logging into Google Classroom please email your child’s respective teacher.
If you have any questions please feel free to email me at r_coleman@chuh.org.
Thanks and have a safe and productive week.
R. Coleman
Student Support Lab hours are one hour time periods each day in which a student or family can virtually connect with a teacher for learning support. The student support lab will be scheduled daily. Please see the schedule for Student Support Lab times.
The Weekly Schedule outlines what students will be engaged with each week in each subject area. This will help parents and students map out the plan for completing activities and assignments and determining when to reach out for support or enrichment. Questions about the weekly schedule can be directed to the classroom teacher via email or through student support lab hours.
