Design and build a way to share music with our community.
Bring your project WEEK 1 of February
There are no limits to your ideas, but some suggestions are:
Make a musical instrument
Make an instrument related to your family's culture
Write a rap!
Write a song that a teacher could play
Make a music video in the InDe lab using Green Screens!
Play a song and share the recording
Make sound effects for a winter themed movie or commercial
Make a short video using sound effects to tell the snowy story
Make a video of you snowboarding or skiing and add amazing music and sound effects
Your project must be brought to school and displayed in school through the month of February.
Mr. Molloy will help you locate and setup your display.
Criteria:
Must demonstrate creativity and/or out of the box thinking
Must solve a problem or improve something
Include a poster, video, website, and/or QR code that explains your product
Constraints:
Must be small enough to fit on a desk / table
Must be school appropriate
Must be student made. Adults can contribute but kids should do all planning and assembly on their own. If dangerous tools or tricky parts require adult assistance we understand, but the project needs to be something the child does for themselves to the greatest extent possible.
Using the Design Thinking Process is a time tested way to ensure an innovative, quality product can be created.
Using AI is acceptable, but only so long as it assists a human, and does not replace a human.
Make a PVC pipe flute
Make Sound Effects for a video
Make a green screen video of you skiing Mt. Everest.
Add dynamic music!
Invent a funky new instrument
SEE sound! Make a tonoscope and create a poster of your incredible patterns!
