Français 4

Checkpoint C level courses are conducted entirely in the target language, and students are expected to use the target language for all classroom interactions. Because the most important factor in language learning is the amount of practice a student has, students are encouraged to write or say as much as possible for each activity or assignment.

French 4 is the first in a two-course sequence of "pre-advanced" (Checkpoint C) level courses. The goal of these courses is to turn students into beginning "storytellers" within the target culture: they will start to engage in conversation in a more "participatory" manner, discussing topics of both personal and community interest across the major time frames (past, present and future).
