Each academy at Christian County High School houses core courses—English, mathematics, science, and social studies. Students take the majority of their core coursework within their assigned career academy.
Elective courses are primarily housed in the school’s global areas, with select electives offered within specific career academies.
Career academies are identified through the course number of each core course. Courses offered in the Academy of Agriculture and Skilled Trades begin with the letter “A” (e.g., A-270311, Algebra 2). Courses in the Academy of Business, Engineering, and Manufacturing begin with “B” (e.g., B-270311, Algebra 2).
