CCHS Executive Principal, Mr. Ken Carver
My name is Ken Carver, and I am honored to serve as the Executive Principal of the new Christian County High School—Home of the Tigers—opening this August. I am currently in my 21st year in education, with all of my prior experience in the Muhlenberg County School District. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as a high school biology teacher, baseball and basketball coach, athletic administrator, assistant principal, and head principal, and this marks my 14th year in school administration.
I am a 2004 graduate of Murray State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I later completed my Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Rank I, including certifications in Director of Pupil Personnel and Superintendency, from the University of the Cumberlands.
My wife, Alicia, and I have been married for 21 years, and we are blessed with identical twin daughters, Abry and Ava, who are freshmen at Murray State University.
As the founding executive principal of Christian County High School, I am incredibly excited about the tremendous opportunity before us to transform the way high school education is done. Through our academy model, we will more than ever rely on strong partnerships with our business, industry, and community leaders to provide authentic, real-world learning experiences for our students. Our goal is to meet every student where they are, expose them to meaningful career pathway opportunities, and empower them to make informed decisions about their future—whether that includes two- or four-year postsecondary education, direct entry into the workforce, or service in our armed forces.
This is truly our community’s school. Together, we will build a culture of excellence and pride while preparing education-ready and career-ready graduates who represent the very best of Christian County High School. Go CCHS Tigers!
