Attain (and maintain) above average academic 88% or better.
Demonstrate a willingness to render worthwhile service to fellow. students, the school and/or community by achieving a minimum of ten (10) hours of documented community service per semester.

Show courtesy, concern and respect for others.
Display leadership in co-curricular, extra-curricular and/or community activities.
It is important to begin to prepare in sixth grade by achieving good grades, becoming involved in clubs and activities, following school rules, becoming a role model for other students, and tracking community service hours (work in which you don’t receive pay or other forms of compensation) in order to earn the recommendation of teachers and strengthen your chance to be selected.
