Having trouble opening files your child needs for class because it is showing you don’t have permission? Unable to access your student’s Google Classroom?

Identify which account you're in: 

• If you’re signed in to your browser, at the top right, you’ll see an icon with your initial or profile photo.

  • If the email address ends in @stu.chino.k12.ca.us, you’re signed into your student’s account.

  • If the email address is your personal email, you’re logged in with your personal Google account, and need to add your child’s profile- this is what is causing sign in issues. 

• If you’re not signed into an account, you’ll see

• Follow the steps below to create a Chrome Browser profile..

Create a Chrome Browser profile:

1. In Chrome Browser, at the top right, click Profile

2. Click Add then Sign In

3. Use your child’s email address and password to sign in (the ending is @stu.chino.k12.ca.us) 

4. Choose a name and a photo.

5. Click Save. A new window will open and ask you to turn on sync.

6. You will need to make sure this profile is chosen when your child is doing work on the computer.
