Having trouble opening files your child needs for class because it is showing you don’t have permission? Unable to access your student’s Google Classroom?
Identify which account you're in:
If you’re signed in to your browser, at the top right, you’ll see an icon with your initial or profile photo.
If the email address ends in @stu.chino.k12.ca.us, you’re signed into your student’s account.
If the email address is your personal email, you’re logged in with your personal Google account, and need to add your child’s profile- this is what is causing sign in issues.
If you’re not signed into an account, you’ll see
Follow the steps below to create a Chrome Browser profile..
Create a Chrome Browser profile:
In Chrome Browser, at the top right, click Profile
Click Add then Sign In
Use your child’s email address and password to sign in (the ending is @stu.chino.k12.ca.us)
Choose a name and a photo.
Click Save. A new window will open and ask you to turn on sync.
You will need to make sure this profile is chosen when your child is doing work on the computer.
