Students should bring their Chromebook to school every day (with a full charge).

Big Ideas Math (BIM)

Big Ideas Math is the publisher of the student textbook. Most assignments will be assigned through the Big Ideas Math digital classroom. These assignments will almost always have both a digital and paper component.

DeltaMath (DM)

The DeltaMath application will be utilized for some assignments (and some quizzes/tests). When used for assignments, students have access to video tutorials and solutions with detailed explanation which makes DeltaMath a useful digital tool to practice with some skills.

Aeries

All student scores are entered into Aeries. This will be true for most, if not all your student's classes. This is where you will be able to monitor your student's performance. Aeries should be checked by both parents and students at least once a week.

Microsoft Teams (MS Teams)

MS Teams is similar to Google Classroom. However, I find that MS Teams has significantly more functionality which is why I use it. Because I distribute most assignments through Big Ideas digital classroom, MS Teams is mostly a repository for information (notes, agendas, links, etc.). It is important that students know how to navigate their MS Teams classroom, especially if they have been absent.

Other Digital Tools

I use quite a few digital resources in my classroom for assignments, activities, and assessments. If you have any questions regarding any of these resources, please reach out to me.
