The Learning Center (TLC) is a resource for academic support. The TLC is located in Room 102. Check out the TLC Google Classroom to access help through notes and resources. You can access the TLC before school from 7:30 AM until the start of school, except on Wednesdays. On Wednesday, the TLC will open at 8:30 AM. After school, the TLC will be open till 3:15 PM.
Students can also request academic support from their teachers when needed, during primetime, or at a time that suits the teacher's availability.
Students work to help their peers resolve conflicts through peer mediation. They receive training on key conflict styles, active listening, and I-messages. They learn how to support peers through a mediation process. Students also work to promote a positive school climate through various campus activities and social media platforms.

This group of students is selected by teachers and staff on campus to work with our Special Needs students to develop social skills. Social Mentors work on practicing the intricacies of communication and personal space with our Special Needs students through a series of informational videos. Social Mentors then put those skills into practice through the use of board games.
The Wellness Ambassador Program will work to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and educate you and your friends about positive mental wellness. By destigmatizing Mental Health and promoting Mental Wellness. You will learn about community and campus resources to help direct a friend in need.
This club focuses on community services and is organized by its advisors.CJSF Membership is based on scholarship and is gained after qualifying grades are earned each semester. To become a member, students must apply each semester they are eligible. There is a four-week window to apply. A point system specified in the CJSF State By-Laws establishes the membership requirements. All you need is 2 A's and 2 B's in your Math, English, History, and Science classes, NO D's or F's in any subject. In the fall, 8th graders may apply, and the 7th and 8th graders are eligible to apply in the spring.

Kids Leading Everyone Against Nicotine (KLEAN) Club focuses on Tobacco use prevention education. Their goal is to prevent young people from using tobacco. Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke. Promote quitting among adults and youth. Students who join this club will lead events on and off campus, like Red Ribbon Week and elementary tobacco prevention presentations.
Educational Talent Search (ETS) and Upward Bound (UB) are federally funded programs designed to motivate, support, and encourage low-income, first-generation students to graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education at their choice.
The goal of Talent Search is to increase the number of youth from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school and enroll in and complete their postsecondary education. These programs offer services including academic advising, tutoring, career exploration, college application assistance, and financial aid information.

Students interested in creating different styles of jewelry created this club last year. No experience is needed! All styles of jewelry are explored, from bracelets to earrings are made for club sales.

Club Live is a youth-led club run on Bidwell's campus through Butte County Behavioral Health! Our goal is to make Bidwell a place where people can support each other and make Bidwell the best place that it can be. Each week we meet to play games, get to know each other, learn valuable coping skills and discuss issues facing students at Bidwell are facing like Alcohol, Vaping, and Opioids. We also look to make Bidwell a better place for everyone through monthly Climate Projects that seek to uplift other students and move towards making the climate at Bidwell the best it can be. All are more than welcome to join at any time!

Students meet during lunch to watch movies. Students vote and decide which movie they will watch. They typically cycle through the various cinematic choices available through Netflix or Disney+.

Do you love Disney Characters? Ever wish you could learn how to draw one of your favorite characters? Here is your chance. Each month, you will have an opportunity to draw a new Disney character. Be sure to listen to the morning announcement and look out for Disney Animator's Palate.
Clubs are developed and chartered by students. If a student wishes to start a club, they will need a faculty advisor to oversee the organization. Please reach out to the Activities Director in room 408 or your school counselor for more information.
