Camp runs from June 10-Aug 16 and staff will be scheduled M-F for each week. Staff are allowed to take one week (5 consecutive work days) off during the summer. In the event you are sick or an unplanned circumstance arises, please contact your direct Supervisor for assistance in finding a substitute.Â
Employees must use the When I Work app to clock in and out for each shift. Employees are responsible for reviewing their timesheet each week and inserting a note if a time is missing. Please follow "Missed Punch Instructions" located in the Timesheet folder on the CAMP Staff Google Drive.
Maximum work hours: All CARD part time employees are limited to working a maximum of 1000 hours per fiscal year (July 1-June 31) unless the employee is a member of PERS.
If shift is between 0- 4 hours, the employee may choose to take one 15 minute paid rest break.
If shift is between 4.01- 8 hours, the employee may choose to take two, non-consecutive 15 minute paid rest breaks.
If working less than 8 hours in a day, no meal break is required but allowed.
If working more than 8 hours in a day, you are required to take one 30-60 minute break no later than the end of the 7th hour.
Example: If working 10:00-6:30- Must take a break no later than 6:00.
Example: Attending training in the morning and after school program in the afternoon. Work 9:00-1:00, 2:00-6:00 (no more than an hour break)
