Camp Chi Da Ca and Camp Chico Creek are both outdoor nature camps. Please come prepared for a variety of weather and make sure to have the appropriate sun protection! Please make sure to bring water and stay HYDRATED! Plan on being in the creek EVERY DAY!
Summertime Delight is held at Pleasant Valley Recreation Center with activities both indoors and outside. Plan on getting in the pool and swimming EVERY DAY in the afternoon with the campers!
Sports Camp and ShortE/Little Athletes Camp are both indoor and outdoor camps with a focus on sport and physical activity. Please come prepared to be active and potentially outside for periods of time. Bring water and stay hydrated throughout the day!
Camp or CARD shirts should be worn on Monday, on field trip days, and Friday for Camp Chi Da Ca.
All staff are provided a staff ID badge. This badge is to be worn during work hours and must not be given to children to wear.
Shoes must be closed toe, fully enclose the foot, and not restrict you from being active with the participants. Athletic shoes are encouraged. Chaco or Teva like sandals with a back strap or water shoes are appropriate only during swim and creek time. No Flip Flops or sandals without a back strap.
Clothing should be neat, clean and presentable.
Midriff and undergarment exposure is unacceptable.
Low cut shirts that show cleavage are not acceptable. Tank tops must have wide straps that cover undergarments and arm openings must not show torso. Tube or halter tops may not be worn under any circumstances.
Pants that you can see through or that expose your undergarments when you sit down or bend over are not acceptable. Slightly distressed jeans are ok but large holes are not.
Shorts must be at mid-thigh or longer.
Jewelry should not be functionally restrictive, dangerous to job performance, or excessive.
All clothing, jewelry or tattoos depicting alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or other potentially offensive themes, such as sexual innuendos, violence, or profanity are not appropriate. If issued CARD clothing, it may not be worn while purchasing or consuming alcohol.
Offensive body odor and poor personal hygiene is not professionally acceptable.
