There is a huge variety of scholarships that students can apply for at Chiao Hsin. Here are the scholarships and how students can apply. Students can apply for scholarships during the middle of the year when it gets closer to the Christmas Performance. If they get selected, they receive money as a discount on their tuition. The amount of money varies from $100 up to $500! Students either have to make a video or write an essay in Chinese. Some scholarships' requirements are harder and require both. The more difficult the scholarships are, the more money and other goods you get. Those who are in charge of selecting the recipients of the scholarships you are applying for, such as the Alumni scholarship, one of the top scholarships, are the principal, staff, and PTA. They review each student to decide who gets the scholarship based on their video or essay. At the end of the Christmas Performance, the principal would announce all the scholarship recipients and how much money they receive from the scholarship.
