ELA Curriculum Overview

This year, we’ll be using Amplify ELA, a comprehensive literacy program designed to build strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Students will:

• Read a variety of engaging texts, including fiction, nonfiction, and drama

• Learn to support their ideas with evidence from the text

• Build vocabulary and deepen their understanding of language

• Write for different purposes, including narratives, essays, and responses to reading

• Participate in discussions that build confidence and comprehension

Amplify ELA encourages students to think deeply and express their ideas clearly, preparing them for success in middle school and beyond.
