With the school year coming to a close (in less than two months!), now is the time to start thinking about summer reading. This year is different, however. Students now have a say in which books will be read by completing this interest form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfKZFan2g0wRs4tORUKtvewrVzgNYt695mDSPWdyAgGXKoO6A/viewform

Whether its a book from Tiktok or one that you’ve been eyeing for a while (but have no time to read), your choice in literature could be chosen to discuss once the 2023 school year begins in the fall. The summer is the best time to read for fun, because you don’t have to read school-related books alongside your book choice. As an added bonus, English teachers will be giving bonus points to students who attend a summer reading meeting.

Another form will be sent out later for all students to choose their summer reading book with options based on the form above.
