Owners, Enzo Beskovic and Fico Cecunjanin, plan to unveil their 7,600-square-foot, newly renovated restaurant, Bone in Prime, next month. Located at 1410 Highland Ave in Cheshire, Enzo and Fico intend to bring more life to town through their upbeat restaurant style.

“The location is perfect,” restaurant partner Beskovic said. “We got a good deal on the building and it's in a busy part of town.”

Bone in Prime is hoping to appeal to customers in Cheshire and surrounding towns by modernizing their building and creating a more friendly restaurant atmosphere. The highly anticipated renovations will cost an expected $700,000 complete with a massive outdoor patio. Dining inside and outside will accommodate up to 500 people.

Enzo and Fico had the idea to bring a steak and seafood house to Cheshire because they saw the success of many restaurants and recognized the lack of quality dining in the north end of town.

“You look at a place like Viron Rondo,” Beskovic said. “We hope to recreate that success through the right tools and steps and our excellent food, all while keeping our restaurant true to who we are.”

Enzo and Fico are both highly experienced in the restaurant business and have worked as executive chefs in steakhouses before. Fico worked at Red Fox for the past five years. Before that, he worked as an executive chef at Luce. Enzo is currently a chef at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar in West Hartford. They are ready for a new challenge and taking big risks in hoping to manage a thriving and lucrative restaurant. The owners are extremely hopeful for the future and already believe that Bone in Prime will be a success because of their variety and ability to cater to anyone and everyone.

They will have an expansive menu with items ranging from $5 to $150. The most expensive item on the menu is a 40 oz. tomahawk steak that costs a whopping $150. This is just one of the many bizarre and creative dishes Bone in Prime will provide to their customers.

“Good food is appreciated here in Cheshire,” Beskovic said. “I hope we can provide Cheshire with something new and leave smiles on people’s faces as they walk out the door.”
